Daughter participated in a Shakespeare play.

XP's new blog

XP just finished her 4B Singapore English Books

and doesn't want to continue with stadard 5 books.

Her reason is "very boring, just copy and copy and copy".

To replace her daily English unit,

I created a new blog for her (which she temporary called "XP's diary")

where she has to write a short essay everyday (hopefully).

I really like Singapore English, XP can do all the works by herself (lazy mom).

In this chapter, she read some poems, understood them and wrote one.

She created a special name for a girl just to rhyme with the poem,

she was also very unhappy that stanza 4 could not rhyme nicely.

In this book (MyPalsAreHere! 4A),

students learn to write :

and of course grammar, reading comprehension and vocabulary.

You can see some violence in this poem,

new-comers normally will be bullied by the 11,12 year-old.

It took XP weeks to be accepted among them,

before that I was heartbroken seeing her cried everyday,

but still she insisted to go to the playground.

Lately she did quite well by helping the new-comers to blend in.
